Mardi Gras at Cut It Up!

Mardi Gras is such a fun event for cards and decor!  Who doesn't love the bright party colors, beads, and fun?  We all know masks are a big part of Mardi Gras, also.  That's why when I got to choose the theme over at Cut It Up, I thought it would be fun to do a Mardi Gras theme using a masking technique!  So, that's the theme this time; you must use a die cut and a masking technique!  You will want to head over there and see all the great ideas by the Design Team and check out the prizes offered by our sponsor, as Cute as a Button!

I chose to use this image by Rick St. Dennis and use traditional Mardi Gras colors:  green, purple and gold.  To learn more about how I did the background on this card and my masking technique, please view the video below.
