Clothe Yourself

The new twist for our Anything Goes challenge over at The Outlawz Twisted Thursday is Layers and Dimension.   Again this week, I decided to take the twist into a sewing direction.

This is a canvas I designed using a quote/passage from Proverbs.  I started with a small canvas and inked it in various shades of berry and pink.  I then glued down some torn pattern paper.  The layers continued from there including stamping, copies of pattern envelopes, die cuts (some heat embossed), 2 laces, twine, flowers, gems, bow, pins and butterfly!

Material List
Canvas Panel
Papers:  Pattern envelopes, BoBunny Bella Rosa
CTMH Stamps
Cricut Cuts:  Heritage, CTMH Artiste, Ornate Clock
Embossing Powders:  Black, Titanium, Grey
 BoBunny Glitter Paste
Ripped Fabric Lace (old curtains)
Lace:  Offray
Butterfly Die: BoBunny Laser Cut Chipboard
Ribbon:  Schiff Seam Binding
Flowers:  Prima Wild and Free
Gems:  CTMH Mocha (retired)
Darice Pearl Flower Pins

This canvas is off to the following challenges:
World Wide Open Design Team:  AG
Craft-Dee BowZ:  AG with handmade Bow
Die Cut Divas:  AG
UnstampaBelles:  Collage + Twist Multi-Media

Thanks for dropping by today.  It's always great to have company!  Please feel free to peruse other pages/posts or view some videos at my YouTube Channel.

  14. A great piece but unfortunately, it does not suit the challenge at Unstampabelles - because you have used stamps in your background. We aim to make without using stamps - digital or otherwise. Such a pity as this is a fabulous arty piece. Please think of us again next month and make something beautiful without using your stamps!
