The new theme for the Cut It Up challenge is Just in C.A.S.E. (case another crafter's project)! Don't forget your die cuts!!
I checked around Pinterest for some interesting projects and found these two very interesting and different than any other tags I had made before:
Tag 1 or https://www.pinterest.com/pin/162692605273786205/
I couldn't decide on one or the other, so I combined them to make my tags! As some of you know, I have a lot of trouble CASE-ing projects! I just can't seem to copy someone else's work. I try, but then my own brain gets involved and takes off on its own tangent! ; ) I hope you can see how I was inspired by the rosettes, the vintage background, the jingle bell, the middle embellishments on the rosettes, etc.
The Straight Edge Rosettes and the Night Before Christmas Tags are both from My Scrap Chic ~ our sponsor this time! The pattern papers were both in my stash. The red paper is from CTMH and the black pattern is from Colorbok Wild Rose. I believe both of these are retired, but worked well for the vintage look I was looking to achieve with the beautiful tag print-outs!
The embellishments include the following:
Old lace
Polkadot ribbon
Jingle Bell
Black Button
Twine
White Glass Gem
Clear Acrylic Snowflake
My Tags are off to the following challenges:
