It's time for a new challenge over at The Outlawz Twisted Thursday and the optional twist is: BOW-nanza! It's always Anything Goes; but if you choose to play the twist, use a bow on your project!
Although I haven't done much sewing lately, I really do enjoy sitting at my machine! My mom taught me to sew for 4-H and I remember seeing sewing patterns in her stash that looked very much like the ones on this paper from Gecko Galz! So, I thought this would make the perfect gift bag for her birthday!
I've chosen to make a little gift bag with this delightful retro pattern. I went into Cricut Design Space and used the Print and Cut option. I combined this wonderful vintage sewing print with a box/bag/basket pattern from CTMH Art Philosophy.
I cut my bow on the Cricut also using a die/pattern from Polkadoodles Work and Play: Love and Kisses! I added twine for a handle.
Material List
Twine from stash
Bow: digital die from Polkadoodles W & P Love and Kisses
CTMH Cardstock for bow
Cricut Access: #M3F94E CTMH Art Philosophy Basket
This project is off to these challenges:
Craft Rocket: Use any Ribbon/Bows/Buttons (Bow)
Bitten by the Bug 2: Anything Birthday
River of Creativity: Fashion Sense
CD Sunday Plus: AG using a CD, USB or digital download
Corrosive: AG
A Place to Start: Patterned Paper Please!
