Flowers for Algernon at PoP

As we meander a Path of Positivity, we are challenging you to Fall Into a Book!  Yes, that's right!  This month we want you to design a project influenced by a BOOK or STORY. Getting lost in a great book/story/poetry is a wonderful way to relax and find some positivity!

My journal page is a memory of a wonderful book I read in MS/HS called Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes.  It is a thought provoking read about a young man, Charlie, with an IQ lower than average who meets up with a Dr/Scientist who makes him a genius for a short time.

Algernon is the lab mouse who received the drug before Charlie.  Algernon's progression and regression basically predicts Charlie's future outcomes.

This book has always had a profound effect on my thinking, so this challenge seemed the perfect time to journal it.

We'd like to hear your ideas at Path of Positivity.  Come share them with us!

Remember, you may share any sort of artistic medium over at PoP:  writing, cards, journals, scrapbooking, painting, sewing, baking, needle crafts, etc as long as it is positive!  The theme is always optional.
