Thinking of You


 Time for a new challenge at Paper a la Mode over at The Outlawz and the theme is Thinking of You!  

I chose to create with the Poppies page from Anne's Digital Art.  You can see below, it comes with the lovely Poppies and rectangle border.


Red Poppy Flower Meaning – What Does The Poppy Represent

Red poppy flowers represent consolation, remembrance and death. Likewise, the poppy is a common symbol that has been used to represent everything from peace to death and even simply sleep. https://sourcetacticalgear.com/red-poppy-flower/

Since the theme of the challenge is Thinking of You, this Poppy frame seemed perfect!  Also, a wonderful time to think about my dad who recently passed away.

I chose to add a sentiment to the image in Cricut Design Space.  I then colored it and placed it in my Homemade Art Journal!  Join me in the video below showing the simple mixed media background for this page!
