Mermazing Twine

 It's time for a new challenge over at The Outlawz Twisted Thursday and the optional twist is:  Twine and/or Distressed Edges!

I thought this little sea nymph from DigistampAtelier was so precious.  I really enjoyed coloring up her beautiful hair!  

I've added papers, Cricut cuts, gems, sequins, cheese cloth, and stars.  I've added some twine and distressed the edges.

Making Wishes!

Time for some Dandelion Wishes from Conie Fong!  This bundle is perfect for so many different occasions and especially great for this time of year as we blow off the dandelions! This set comes in JPG and PNG formats!

I have used the Dandelion Fairy image and printed her along with some of the dandelions to create a sort of frame around her. I backed my focal image with CTMH papers Cloud Nine....yeah, I dug deep into my stash for these fun papers from 2014!

Feeling Nature with Your Heart

 As we meander a Path of Positivity, we are challenging you to get out there and  "Enjoy Nature!"  

I love this quote from Helen Keller!  Nature definitely brings us "in touch" with with our heart!

Nature can be a rejuvenating time whether your desire is to relax/meditate or get your heartbeat up with some hiking/running!   

So get out there and Enjoy Nature, then come in to the craft room and share with us through any type of art medium you choose!!

Enjoy Nature!

 

As we meander a Path of Positivity, we are challenging you to get out there and  "Enjoy Nature!"  

Nothing quite takes your mind off stress and worries like a walk in a park or nature preserve seeing all the beauty  ....or maybe your preference is a ride in a boat listening to the oars hit the water  ....or maybe you are like me and you enjoy jumping on a horse and listening to his feet hit the earth in a rhythmic beat to the song of birds  ...or maybe you would enjoy just laying in a hammock smelling the fresh cut lawn and listening to crickets!  

Nature can be a rejuvenating time whether your desire is to relax/meditate or get your heartbeat up with some hiking/running!   

So get out there and Enjoy Nature, then come in to the craft room and share with us through any type of art medium you choose!!

About my card:  I started in Cricut Design Space where I placed/printed my digi and sentiment.  I then cut an oval for my stencil.  After all was printed and cut, I placed the stencil over the digi and applied three colors of ink with a sponge.  Keeping the stencil in place, I splattered with paint.  Easy as that!  

All that was left was finding some stash paper that matched my color theme and assembling my card.

One More Christmas for July...well, Aug 1st!

 One last Christmas in July  ~~ well into August 1st!  Hee hee    

 Conie Fong has so many adorable digi bundles for Christmas/holiday projects and Molly's Winter Friends is just perfect for some winter/holiday crafting:  Christmas, anniversaries, birthdays, or just saying hello!  

These two just seemed the perfect friends!  I've combined Reindeer Lights and Christmas Lights Gnome  from Conie Fong to pair up this 'enlightening' duo for a fun Christmas card.  I used my Cricut Design Space to set up this card and actually did a Print and Cut for the tree behind them.  I printed it in a very light green and then put the texture in over with various Green Copics!  

I colored up the lights with gel pens and embellished the tree.
