Sweet Kitty

As we meander a Path of Positivity, we are talking about numbers this year! Of course, you can share anything positive you like, the theme is always optional.

Remember, you may share any sort of artistic medium over at PoP:  writing, cards, journals, scrapbooking, painting, sewing, baking, needle crafts, etc as long as it is positive.  The theme is always optional.

This month we are inspired by the number 5 with an optional theme of 5 Layer Cake!  The idea is to use 5 layers &/or make it sweet!  Be sure to visit Path of Positivity for a description of this!

I have gone with a sympathy card for a musician friend who needed some positivity after losing her sweet kitty.

Vintage Meets New Technology!

Time for a new challenge at The Outlawz Anything but a Card.

This time I've created a digital vintage layout in Canva! I find it interesting to combine new technology with old photos.  There are so many beautiful faux-vintage pieces out there as well as the 'real thing' you can combine with heirloom pictures.

For me, a great aspect of digital is I can always go back and change things as I acquire more information and add to my digital collections.  I also can print it at anytime as one page or I can print the pieces and make a traditional physical page.

Lastly, I like to use digital to lay out pieces to see how it will look when I'm going to create a physical page!  It's sort of like creating my own recipe and then following it at the craft table.
