As we meander a Path of Positivity, we are challenging you to Celebrate! We will share different optional themes every month for you to celebrate!
We are starting June with this theme: Celebrate Something Special About Your Hero!
Remember, you may share any sort of artistic medium over at PoP: writing, cards, journals, scrapbooking, painting, sewing, baking, needle crafts, etc as long as it is positive! The theme is always optional.

Ok, I don't really have a hero, but I do have many people I find very talented in their fields and I admire greatly! So this month I will be choosing a few and designing projects in honor of them!
So to start the month at PoP, I want to say I really look up to the veterinarians in my world! How they manage all those years in school to turn around and heal those who can't tell them what is wrong is amazing to me!
In my area, we are blessed with several talented vets and specialists since we have one of the top Vet schools just 45 minutes away! Every vet I have worked with has been more than happy to educate, treat, console, and "just be there" in any animal situation! They welcome kids to come shadow for the day, spend evenings talking to FFA and 4-H Clubs, and talk on the phone sometimes at very inconvenient hours!
Those large animal vets face long unpredictable hours, travel in all kinds of weather, and sometimes face serious injury! As for the small animal vets, they have their own un-seen problems in the job and face the possibility of injury as well. Not an easy or glamorous gig! A big shout out and thanks to all those who tend to my furry friends!
I'm honoring these special docs with a stamp by a talented digi artist, Sue Eisenhower from Ike's Art and SUYP! Ike was a very talented and somewhat outspoken artist who loved cats!!
Ike could do cute, dark, serious, or whimsical all with great flare. Her style was her own and we at Path of Positivity always enjoyed creating with her digis!
Ike passed away last month, and she will be greatly missed. Thanks, Ike, for leaving us your art!

What a wonderful tribute Kat! To both the vets and to Ike herself, she will definitely be missed in the art world. I can't imagine how her cats and other pets will manage without her, nevermind her family and friends of course as well. Beautiful post and thanks for being such an awesome team member!
