Rainbows

 Our new challenge over at Cut It Up is Rainbows.  Rainbows...hmmm.  When I think rainbow, I immediately think Roy G Biv!  I'm sure many of us into art think of this!  In case you are not familiar with this, it's ~

R = red
o = orange
y = yellow
G = green
B = blue
i = indigo
v = violet

It seems indigo and violet seem to run into each other on many rainbows, and that is definitely true in this example.

Now for those who visit here regularly...yes, this is sort of CAS!  Yikes, I truly believe it might fit that card type!  So if inquiring minds want to know...yes, I did keep it white with no ink smudges.  I did not spill coffee on it.  I didn't grab it with glue on my hands!  Yay for me!  ;)

Come share your ideas about rainbows over at Cut It Up; remember to include a die cut!

Material List:

Pink and Main Embossing Folder: Rainbow Embossing Folder

Celebrating More Community!

 As we meander a Path of Positivity, we are challenging you to Celebrate!  We will share different optional themes every month for you to celebrate!

We are continuing through September with this theme: CELEBRATE SOMETHING SPECIAL ABOUT YOUR COMMUNITY, YOUR NATION or THE WORLD AT LARGE.  We'd like to hear your ideas at Path of Positivity.  Come share them with us!

Remember, you may share any sort of artistic medium over at PoP:  writing, cards, journals, scrapbooking, painting, sewing, baking, needle crafts, etc as long as it is positive!  The theme is always optional.

I am celebrating our strong 4-H program in our county!  Now, I have to admit, I used older pics of my son since my kids are grown and I don't have grandkids old enough to participate in 4-H yet.  But, I do have great admiration for our 4-H program!  We are a 4 generation 4-H Family and I'm sure when little Cass is old enough, she'll be #5!

There are just so many opportunities in 4-H from public speaking to animals to technology!  If a student is interested, there's a project for it!

Our family participated in crafts, clothing, photography, horses, goats, dogs, and so many other projects!  Both kids held offices in their club and learned the responsibility of being a member.  They both were very active in live demonstrations at the county and state fairs; this gave them the opportunity to learn public speaking and teaching.

I'm proud to celebrate the 4-H program in our community!

PoP Start Celebrating Community

 As we meander a Path of Positivity, we are challenging you to Celebrate!  We will share different optional themes every month for you to celebrate!

In September we are celebrating with this theme: CELEBRATE SOMETHING SPECIAL ABOUT YOUR COMMUNITY, YOUR NATION or THE WORLD AT LARGE.  We'd like to hear your ideas at Path of Positivity.  Come share them with us!

Our community has a wonderful three day festival celebrating the 1950's!  People dress in Americana '50's including scarves, sunglasses, saddle shoes and of course, poodle skirts!  There are many vendors and lots of food, music, and a huge car show!  My kids have always enjoyed going and Katelyn always loved performing with the choir.  Keith is into the car show!

I always have fun dabbling in Digital Layouts and this layout features the Taste of Summer Kit from Decosse's Dynamite Doodles...designed by our own Lisa Décosse!

Remember, you may share any sort of artistic medium over at PoP:  writing, cards, journals, scrapbooking, painting, sewing, baking, needle crafts, etc as long as it is positive!  The theme is always optional.

Fall Into an Adventure!

   Time for a new challenge at The Outlawz Paper à la Mode and the theme is Fall Into an Adventure!  So I've decided to take that theme a couple of directions!  I designed this Keepsake Journal/Book foundation (which was sort of an adventure) to hold pics and ephemera from my Fall Adventures!

Sort of the adventure that keeps on going!  Design the book, have the adventure, then document the adventure, then go back and relive the adventure!

Challenges over at Paper à la Mode are so much fun since we can go any medium/project we like as long as we stick with the theme!  Oh, and NO CARDS!  Our current challenge is sponsored by Vectoria Designs!

I have 3 videos on this book.  So grab a cup of coffee/tea/cider/cocoa and join me for some fall fun!  Please feel free to leave me questions on the videos; I'm always happy to help when I can!
