Rock Me Amadeus!

As some of you might know from reading my posts, I am an oboist.  Most of my performing years were spent with this quintet.  I love chamber music and the Wind Quintet repertoire is my favorite!  We performed everything from hard core pieces to pop!  The flautist doubled on piano; this was perfect since the Mozart Quintet in Eb was written for Ob, Cl, Bsn, Horn and Piano.

I scrapped this picture with the oboe part and score from the Mozart inspired by the challenge over at Scrap It With a Song.    I chose Rock Me Amadeus by Falco.

I'm also sending this off to 613 Avenue Create since the optional twist is to use sheet music, lyrics, music notes in the design!  I used notes and sheet music.

My quintet will also be off to Outlawz Twisted Thursday AG Challenge!

  1. I loved "Rock Me Amadeus!" I wrote a musical for one of my theater assignments in college, and one scene was my brother-in-law break dancing to Rock Me Amadeus, while behind him dancers, dressed in victorian dress white wigs and all, danced a minuet! It was awesome. Of course the choreographer was the real heroine, but we all got A's! I wish I could scan the picture...you would probably love it!

I love the layout of your page and the photo is great! Thanks so much for playing our twist this week, we appreciate it!
