Inspired by Books, Newspapers, or Magazines

Time for a new challenge at The Outlawz Anything Goes in a Card-free Zone (formerly known as The Outlawz Paper à la Modeand the Optional theme is Books, Magazines, Newspapers!  I was inspired by 'Books' and have chosen to go with an old book from a sale and turn it into a Horse Themed Journal/Picture Frame Combo.  I'll be adding all sorts of treasures to the inside of this book as time goes by.

You can see the frame and decor of the cover in the video below!

My project is off to the following challenges:

Use Your Stuff:  Vintage  I've been hoarding that western style snap charm!
Crafting from the Heart:  AG but NO Cards
Crafty Animals:  AG with an Animal
The Creative Crafters:  AG involving paper
Critter Crazy Challenge:  AG with a Featured Critter
Double Trouble:  AG  Also entered in Jan's Digi Stamps Challenge
Make My Monday:  Hobbies  (horses and book altering!)
Lil Red Wagon:  Anything but a Card or Question:  Large or Small
CRAFT:  Shabby Chic  I went with the definition:  'a fashionable but informal style of decoration that uses furniture and other objects that look old and used, not modern and new'
My project includes old-style lace, charms, gems, and an old book!
As You Like It:  Fav Animal  Horses are such peaceful animals, there's nothing more lovely than being in the barn come evening and listening to them munch hay.  But they can also be full of exuberance and life running and playing in the pastures!  They seem to take in your mood and reflect it; then they comfort!  Amazing animals which is why I needed a journal to record my specials art, pics, writings, etc.
Night Owls:  I Love... I love old books, embellishments, journaling, pictures, and horses!!
