Christmas Treats for our Pups!

Time for a new challenge at The Outlawz Anything Goes in a Card-free Zone (formerly known as The Outlawz Paper à la Modeand the Optional theme is Food!  So, I've decided to make some dog treats and then make a Christmas Gift Bag for them!

Here's a video to explain how I made the bag big enough for the yummy treats!

Disclaimer/Alert:  When feeding dogs peanut butter remember #1) Dogs can have peanut allergies!  #2) *Never feed a peanut butter that includes Xylitol!!  For advice on this consult your vet or you might enjoy this article from the AKC. www.akc.org/expert-advice/nutrition/can-dogs-eat-peanut-butter

Always feed treats in moderation due to salt/sugar intake!  I need to follow that advice for myself!  ;)

Here's the Recipe for the Treats!

1/2 c *Peanut Butter
2 c flour ~ I used whole wheat
2 large eggs
1/4 cut water (I used about a Tablespoon more!)
Bake at 350 degrees for 15 - 20 minutes.  Store in air tight container up to a week.  These will keep in the freezer until you are ready to thaw!

Material List:
Homemade Dog Treats (Recipe Above)

For the Bag:
Digi Paper: Decosse's Dynamite Doodles Cozy Christmas Scene FREE
"If you'd like a chance to earn this paper, simply link up two Christmas cards to The 12 Months of Christmas anytime between Nov. 1st and Nov. 30th and you will receive it for free." Go to 12 Months of Christmas for requirements/rules.

Time Out:  See inspiration below:  "When we focus on our gratitude,
the tide of disappointment goes out and the tide of love rushes on"
Kristin Armstrong
As I read this quote, I was reminded of the great trainers (both horse and dog) who have always talked about human agenda vs animal output during training.  I am currently working with a trainer who emphasizes just this quote.  Be grateful for the animal and tries, then the disappointment won't overtake the time together!

Aloha Friday:  Food and Drink
Inkspirational:  Moodboard  (cut out treats for Christmas!)
