I saw an old sled!

As we meander a Path of Positivity, we are challenging you to Embrace The Unexpected. Of course, you can share anything positive you like, the theme is always optional.

Remember, you may share any sort of artistic medium over at PoP:  writing, cards, journals, scrapbooking, painting, sewing, baking, needle crafts, etc as long as it is positive.  The theme is always optional.

This month we are inspired by something unexpected we see on a walk!  Be sure to visit Path of Positivity for a description of this!

Now, I know you are wondering why in the world I saw a sled on a walk in September with the temp around 80 degrees.  Well, here's the story.

I was actually walking to my barn and saw the sled I had moved out of the machine shed!  It caught me by surprise since it didn't belong there and then I remembered I wanted to get it out to check its condition.  I'm looking forward to decorating it this Christmas and placing it by my front porch.  For now, it has inspired me to start some Christmas cards!

  1. Thanks, Katrina, for creating and sharing your Christmas card at ConBC #15!! You've used Column G of the bingo board very effectively in your interpretation! I can relate to taking the walk to one destination and seeing something that gets picked up and move to another location!!! Did that a thousand times while periodically working to clean out my mom's farmhouse!!! My husband and I did more than 1/3 of my share of responsibility but after a year, it is now 99.95% empty! All the old 'treasures'/memorabilia need to be sorted and utilized somehow, some way! When you decorate your sled, please take time to photograph it for a card, journal page or scrapbook layout! -- Becca
