Christmas Card in July!

Time to share some of the projects I did while I was taking the Copic Jumpstart Class  (online) with Sandy Allnock.  On the heels of the on-line class, I was lucky enough to take some "live" classes with her in Indy at Palette & Paper!  I'll be sharing some pieces from those classes soon.

Anyway....back to this card.  I used the cute little girl holding one ornament from Fresh Brewed  and the FREE clump of Ornaments from Scribbles Designs.  I combined the two different images in Design Space to make one.  It seemed to be a great pairing.  Since I was in DS, I grabbed my sentiment from CTMH Artbooking.

This image worked as my example of coloring round shapes.  I also got to do some "ruffle shading" in that little dress and highlights in the ornaments.  These images served me well for my homework assignment.

This little one is carrying her ornaments to the following challenges:

Outlawz Twisted Thursday:  AG Optional Twish ~ Christmas in July
TTCRD:  AG
Christmas All Year Round:  AG as long as it's Christmas/Festive
ABC Christmas:  "N" is for No Rules (as long as it's Christmas!)

Thanks for checking out one of my homework assignments!  haha  Feel free to hang out and peruse other post/pages, shop CTMH, leave me a comment/message/question, or just start dreaming of Christmas!
