Twilight Hope

Sometimes it's just fun to venture into something new, and for me Fantasy is definitely not something I typically do!  I'm not really sure why not, just doesn't come up that often for me.

This image really appealed to me, so I decided to get to coloring with my Copics and gel pens.  No dies, no fabrics, just coloring for the sake of coloring!  I think it shows hope in the twilight; so I'm sending it off as a card.

Material list:
Molly Harrison Digi:  Twilight Companions Fairy and Owl
Copic Markers
Gel Pens
Black Paper (Stash)
Olive Paper DCWV Shimmer Stack

I'm sending this off to the following challenges:

Arty Divas:  AG

Really?

I really love the Pony Digis from Hetty Clare!  This one is The Mouse!  I colored with Copics and have backed it with stash paper.  It seems every horse/pony image she draws reminds me of one of our horses, a show/barn experience, or one of our barn friends!  If you love horses and crafting/coloring, you need to see images from Hetty Clare!

This image reminds me of my horse Harry!  I loved that guy, but he would have jumped into our arms at the sound, sight, smell of anything strange!  He was such a baby...a 1200 lb baby, but still a baby!  hahaha

This page is off to the following challenges:

Style and 'a different for me' sort of video!

Continuing down our path and discovering style, I had a wonderful time creating this in my journal for Path of Positivity.  It's always fun to just sit down with a bunch of scraps and old stamps and create inspired by a new image!  This PRE-COLORED image from LunaGirl was perfect to get my style going.

Check out the video below for a look at my process and how my style translates to a journal page!
** Now this is a very different video for me; so if you watch, be sure to let me know what you think.  Trying to figure out if people like straight to the point videos like I usually do, or more rambling ones!  ;)

Silent Night My Style

Wow, here it is April and the world has seen events new to all of us!

Our optional theme over at Path of Positivity is "Your Style."  I have to say, my lifestyle revolves around hanging with my horses, playing with the dogs and my grand-girls, and teaching oboe!  So, my life hasn't changed too much!  I have incorporated technology to teach oboe and I miss physically seeing the girls, but the rest is basically the same!

As for my style in crafting, my favorite is scrappy, vintage, rustic, etc.  So, when I found this image in Cowboys & Horses from Lunagirl I knew my style was covered!  If you enjoy this style of crafting, I invite you back on April 20 for a process video where you get to see my style in action!  It's a bit raw/natural...not as processed and 'to the point' as most of my videos!

So, what's your style?  We invite you to come and share it with us at Path of Positivity
