Thank You!!

Over at Cut It Up, we do love our sponsors and we are excited to share some cards we recently mailed to them.  We all chose sponsors from the past year and created cards for them using their unique designs!

I was pleased to have the opportunity to share our appreciation with two of our wonderful sponsors: Pink & Main and STAMPlorations Each of these sponsors is such a joy and always inspires me to create something beautiful!

I'll start with this card I sent to Pink & Main!  This stamp, Tall Flowers,  is gorgeous and large!  Perfect for birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, thinking of you, and thank you's!  This particular set comes with 3 large, beautiful stamps!  There is also a matching die available.  These dies cut perfectly!

Next, I'm sharing this country style card with a beautiful digital stamp Zinnia Row from Stamplorations!  I adore all the Row stamps; they are perfect for cards and borders on pages!  The "Thankful" is cut from the Sentiment Die:  STAMP-lorations  Thankful Every Day Phrase DieThe die is perfect for all your fall/Thanksgiving projects!

Be sure to visit Cut It Up and see all the wonderful cards from the team and celebrate our many sponsors!

Again, a huge thank you to all our sponsors this year!  We are excited to work with the amazing and talented people behind the beautiful papers, cuts, and digis!  It is truly our pleasure!

Index Card Art Journal/Diary

Today I have the privilege of acting as Guest DT over at Creative Artiste Challenge Blog!  The challenge theme is always Anything Mixed Media Goes!

Well, this was perfect for me since I had recently acquired these lovely vintage papers from Vectoria Designs and wanted to incorporate them into a 3-D type piece.

I chose this Index Card Art Journal/Diary project after running across an idea like this for writers.  A writer shared she loved having access to index cards as one option for writing instead of books; she found it less intimidating for quick writings and such.  It got me thinking how fun it would be for ART journaling!  I could go grab an index card and just go from there.  Then all the cards could be housed in this box!

I have cut some cards from scrap pieces of mixed media papers and cardstocks for my box.

In the video, I refer to a project I made before using this box cut/pattern.  Details can be found HERE.  Very different look!

Check out the video below for a tutorial on this little vintage box!

   Material List:

Book Lover Paper Pack Vectoria Designs
Cereal Boxes
Leftover paper/cardstock for cards in box
Black Solid Cardstock and Blue Paper from Stash

Metal Title Plate from CTMH (retired)

Adhesives: Fabri-Tac; Double Score Tape

I'm sharing this box with the following challenges:
We Love 2 Create: AG Mixed Media
WWODT: AG
Crafty Friends: Use more than one die cut.
