Fall Textures


As we meander a Path of Positivity, we are challenging you to Celebrate!  We will share different optional themes every month for you to celebrate!

We are continuing through September with this theme: CELEBRATE SOMETHING SPECIAL ABOUT YOUR Favorite Season.  We'd like to hear your ideas at Path of Positivity.  Come share them with us!    

Remember, you may share any sort of artistic medium over at PoP:  writing, cards, journals, scrapbooking, painting, sewing, baking, needle crafts, etc as long as it is positive!  The theme is always optional.

My favorite season is definitely fall!  I love fall: the cooler temps, the crisp air, harvest, Thanksgiving, the colors, the animals scurrying about, etc.  

In this post I want to celebrate the textures!  I enjoy texture.  I'm that person who has to touch everything; seems I process through touch.  The fall textures are amazing to me.  Denim, burlap, cork, sweaters,,,, it all works for me and I'm more than happy to incorporate it into crafting.  

This piece is really nothing more than a miniature "bulletin board" featuring a favorite picture/photo from a few years ago.  I used my favorite color combo: blue and brown with some wonderful fall textures including wood (the button).
