Time for a Fairy Tale



It's time for a new challenge over at 
The Outlawz Twisted Thursday and the optional twist is:  
March Madness: Use a Fairy or Give your Creation a Fun Fairy Tale Title (you can create your own title or use real Fairy Tale story titles)

I went with the Stories from "The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus."  You can read them HERE.  You might want to tuck this one away for the holidays to read to the littles in your life! 

For this card I used Flight Plan from The Paper Shelter.  The background is an antique map/globe pic from the internet.

Butterflies



Our new challenge over at Cut It Up is Spring Fever, but that's not all!  You need to use at least 3 butterflies on your project!  Of course, you also need to remember your die cut.  Whew, that's a lot to remember!  hee hee 

My card has 3 butterflies from the Cricut CTMH Artfully Sent Cartridge.  I chose a card that has 8 butterflies cut from it and I ...... Wait, let me show you!  That's much simpler!

Let it Snow...(just not here!)




As a guest DT, I get to share another sweet digi from Conie Fong.  I'm sure when you see Conie Fong's art, you will be inspired to make some new projects!  You can learn more about Conie and her art on her Etsy Site or Facebook.

This digi stamp is Snowy the Penguin ~Let it Snow.  I think he is adorable!  I decided since it's a cold, snowy card it should be layered up.  So, I have several paper layers as well as burlap and ribbon.

Botanicals at Christmas


It's time for a mid-month reminder of our optional theme over at Path of Positivity: Beauty of Botanicals 

I love flowers and foliage at Christmas time!  My favorite is definitely holly!  My grandparents had a gorgeous holly bush outside their home.  I remember sitting out in the swing with my sister looking at that lovely bush dreaming of all the holiday treats in our future!

My New Holiday


It's time for a new challenge over at 
The Outlawz Twisted Thursday and the optional twist is:  
Make up your own holiday!  Yes, you have the power to make it up and create your own card, gift wrap, poster, etc!  What holiday do you think is missing from the calendar?


My holiday is Shower Your Sister Day!  It is to be celebrated on the first rainy day in the month of April.  There are no rules except you must break all diet rules and eat your favorite foods together!  You my also give small tokens of friendship and love to your sister!

I chose to make a gift bag for my sister's gift!  I used Lovely Umbrella from The Paper Shelter.  The background is pre-colored and the pretty girl digi is Copic colored and added to the front with dimension.

Green with Envy!



Our new challenge over at Cut It Up is Green with Envy!  So, use a die cut and green!  

This particular coloring is from a recent Kit & Clowder Monthly Class.  I loved the class so much, I changed out the colors and re-colored her with a green dress and red hair to make her Irish for St Patrick's Day!  I was inspired by the flowers in her hair and added a flower border cut with my Cricut!
