It's on the Door!

Time for a new challenge at The Outlawz Anything but a Card. This month we have an optional theme for some added fun:

I've gone with a Christmas' Past Wreath to hang on the inside of my front door.  It includes holiday pictures from 1966 - 2024...so, almost 60 years.  Although, most of the pics are of the kids and grandgirl since they will be the ones looking!

I was fortunate to find the Christmas balls, lights, gold foliage, and berries in boxes of craft goodies at an auction for a couple of dollars! In an office supply box at the same auction, I got the photo paper for a dollar! Score!!  I had the jingle bells, tulle, ribbon, some clothes pins, in my stash.

Therefore, all I needed to buy were more clothes pins, a wreath, and the red tulle.  I looked at several large wreathes and they were expensive.  I wanted a large, full wreath.  So, here's how I did it.

I bought a 24" wreath for $5.59 and an 18" wreath for $4.19.  I put the smaller one inside the large wreath and wired them together.  This created a very full 24" wreath for my foundation for under $10!

I could have gone with a larger wreath since I have so many photos.  I didn't even get into the albums, I just took pics that had already been put into the computer.

I think the family will enjoy perusing this wreath over the holidays.  It will be like having a Christmas Scrapbook hanging on the wall!

Come visit us at The Outlawz AbaC and share what you have been creating!
