Just a quick post to share an idea I had for graduation thank you cards for my son to send out. He graduated a couple of weeks ago from Purdue. These are quick and easy and since Purdue's colors are Black and Gold it worked for the color challenge over at Color My Heart: Black, White, and Gold/Flaxen.
I started by taking a picture of his stole, cap & tassel, diploma and his pic. I noticed there was a blank space in the bottom right hand corner. This was a great place to use the Stamp of the Month Typed Note. I'd like to say I planned that, but .......
I left a white border on the picture and backed it with a Flaxen diagonal.
The inside is white with some black shimmer trim. I told you they were quick!
Thanks for stopping by today! Back to work with my scrappy horses in the barn; they keep me busy this time of year!
Oh my gosh, I am so loving this idea Katrina!!! This is so awesome and the best thank you ever. I've got to remember to do this for my son when he graduates in 3 years! Love, love, love! Hugs, Brenda
