The new challenge over at The Outlawz Twisted Thursday is Shaped Card.
It's always fun to abandon the rectangle/square once in a while an do something a little different!
Our sponsor this month is Papercraftinwitherica.com who is with Fun Stampers Journey. She was so kind to provide each of us with beautiful papers, a stamp, and other goodies!
When I saw this stars & stripes paper and western bandana pattern paper, I immediately thought of the American Quarter Horse. I have been working with a first year 4-H'r and this card is for her when she shows her horse next week!
I started in Design space and cut the card base and horseshoes. I heat embossed the horseshoes and stuck red gems from my stash on them. ~ No, none of my horses have red gems on their shoes. I took some artistic license here! Please, don't mention this to my farrier! ;) ~
The stamp is an inspiring verbiage stamp called You Are and you can see it here! I only wanted 3 of the words, so I did some masking to get the sentiment I wanted. A stamp like this can give you many options for multiple uses! You will see the entire stamp later in the month.
I adhered all the pieces and I finished it off with some wooden stars from Fun Stampers Journey.

Our optional twist is Shaped Card, but remember it is always Anything Goes. Be sure to share with us whatever is in your workspace; we'd love to see it!
Thanks for dropping by today. It's always great to have company! Please feel free to peruse other pages/posts or view some videos at my YouTube Channel.
Oh, how wonderful, Katrina, for your young 4Her! This card couldn't be more perfect for the occasion! I hope she does well in the show!
ReplyDeleteYour 4-H'r will be so please to get this thoughtful card. However, I think you owe it to the horses now to get them some bling for their pretty little footwear!
ReplyDeleteTotally in love with this card! The doors with horseshoe pulls! So creative! The 4Her will love receiving this!
