Change is Good!

The new theme over at Cut It Up is Change is Good: Altered Item.  I love altering items and I must type out loud, it makes me somewhat of a packrat! I found this old, broken light fixture out in our barn.  I decided it needed a new life!  Now it had been in the barn for a while and it was....well, sort of dirty!  So, it was scrubbed outside with a hose, brought in and washed with Dawn and a scrubber, and then bathed in bleach water!

I have included a video for this project; but if you watch, you'll notice I left out the floral and coloring parts.  Basically, I just stuck the flowers into the play dough and colored the image!  ; )

 Cuts are as follows:
CTMH Flower Market:  Wheat Cluster and Wheat Wreath
CTMH Artistry:  Teepee
Cricut Nate's ABC's:  grasses from Elephant and Wheelbarrow with Dog Images

My altered light fixture is off to the following challenges:

World Wide Open DT:  AG
Fab N Funky:  Floral Embellishments
Stampavie and More:  Lots of Flowers
TTCRD:  AG

When you visit the Cut It Up blog, have fun viewing the DT projects and check out the rules and prize info.  Then share your altered/recycled projects ~ don't forget the die cut to have a chance to win a prize from our sponsor!
