Some Twisted Stitching!

It's time for new challenge over at
The Outlawz Twisted Thursday and our optional twist is to incorporate some stitching...real or faux!  That means you can get out all those twines, threads, sewing machine, or a gel pen or colored pencil!  Possibilities are endless!

I used a rustic board print pattern paper from Polkadoodles and combined it with the versatile Happy Flowers Digi Set.  I chose this floral stamp set because there are so many options!  Perfect for anniversaries, birthdays, get well, thinking of you, etc!  You can also use bits and pieces and create backgrounds as I did for this card!

This card was designed in Cricut Design Space using the Print and Cut feature.  I flattened the blooms onto a rectangle shape and cut them from multi media paper so I could do some "faux" water color using Marvy and Tombow markers.  I simply scribble some ink onto a palette (tile from hardware store) and watercolor it on using inexpensive water brushes.  It doesn't take much water at all, so be aware!

My flowers are off to the following challenges:
