Denim, Faux Pearls, and Button Covers - Really!

Time for a new challenge at The Outlawz Anything but a Card.

I've decided to go with a sort of recycling project using an old button cover (from the '80's) and the seam from old beat up jeans!  The faux pearls were from a broken necklace (probably also from the '80's)!  This bracelet is fun to wear and looks great with a fluffy sweater.  ; )

So, have I truly dated myself with this project?  I didn't say these pieces belonged to me originally!  hahaha

  7. Genius idea!!! My sister and I both had a hard time getting rid of any of our mom's costume jewelry. She was a clip earring style wearer. She was still wearing earrings up until her last 6 months or so. She also preferred short length necklaces. I've got too much saved. I've got to either re-work most of the necklaces to fit my wider neck or find another way to use them. Chain extenders will only be able to be used with a few without exposing the connections. You've cleverly figured out how to put all the different past elements into an upcycled unique stylish bracelet!!! Kudos!! Thanks for sharing with FQGS during our #38 session/March!!
