I've always been fascinated by older photographs. I remember as a child, sneaking off at nap time to the den to look through old photo albums and my mom's wedding album was one of my favorites! Now, to tell you how much I've NOT changed since childhood, I actually snuck this album out of their house this past summer to make copies of the wedding pictures! I guess the cat is out of the bag now if Mom reads this post! hahaha
In the video below, I mention "Cricut Craft Room"......jeesh, I meant Design Space! I also couldn't recall some colors and the flower brands. I've included all that below. So, for more information on this piece (and some miscellaneous stuff about me, some meandering conversation, and my thought process), please see the video below. You might want a snack to get you through my ramblings ........ I'll wait while you go to the kitchen!
In a hurry? You can fast forward to 4:50 and get to the Design Space portion. If you are just interested in custom cuts, you can fast forward to around 7:00 in the video. At about 5:30 minutes in, I talk about attaching the wreathes to a rectangle. I actually "sliced" it.
I will journal on the note page once I have the facts I want to include!
CTMH Papers/Cardstocks: Balloon Ride (retired), Champagne, Pacifica, Saphire
CTMH Stamps: Sweet & Lovely; Mother's Day (retired)
Cartridges: CTMH Artfully Sent ; CTMH Artbooking; Cricut Suburbia
CTMH Inks: Champagne, Saphire, Archival Black
CTMH Embellishments: Black Flourishes; Mini Medley Accents
Other Embellishments: Tulle from stash, Blue sparkle gems from stash, Prima flowers
I'm sending this layout off to the following challenges:
Scrap it With a Song: White Wedding
Heart 2 Heart: Cricut Capers
Scrap Our Stash: INKS ~ Ink, Indigo color, Negative space, Note paper for journaling, Kathryn (pic of grandmother on the right), Stamps, Sequins, Stick Pin
Thanks for coming by for a visit! I really enjoy doing custom cuts and will most likely have more videos on the process. If there is anything you would like to learn using Design Space, please let me know. I'm always up for learning a new process and sharing!
