Forever Young!

These happen to be one of my sister's favorite color combos!  Great timing ~ her birthday is coming up in the next month!  Now, if I can keep track of the card that long, I'll have it ready for the day!

My sister is younger than I am; I guess forever she'll be my "little sister" and she'll never really be old.  Not that she's old now----no way!  We're still quite young!  I'm just looking down the road to when we are older........like in our late 80's or 90's.  Who knows, we may not be old then!

The color dare over at Color My Heart this week inspires us to use Olive and Smokey Plum.  I've added Daisy White and Slate to the color palette.

I heat embossed the girl and then distressed the edges with scissors.  The seam binding wasn't quite white enough behind the olive ribbon; to fix that I adhered white cardstock behind the seam tape.  This made the olive ribbon with the little buckle pop.

CTMH Stamp sets include:  Dreamer, Love Life, Remarkable Wreath, and You Are My Happy Alphabet.

CTMH Embellishments:  Seam Binding and Mini Medley Olive.

Other Embellishment:  Sparkle Flower from stash

All CTMH from KatiesCorner.

  2. Okay...can I just say right off the top that this is NOT my favorite stamp set. I don't see things to do with it. And then something like this comes along and I'm rethinking why I don't like it. :) Great card, Katrina. Thanks for sharing it with us at Color My Heart.
